Every sunday 9.30-10.30am- beginners are helped with rigging and tips on sailing by Paul Newman. boats are available for those who want to try before committing free of charge and can be used in the races following. if boats are wanted a week's notice is required by phoning Adam Rich.

HDRC Burnham are currently sailing at two venues, Ratsborough Farm Southminster and Blackwater Sailing Club, on a weekly basis. Blackwater Sailing Club has kindly allowed HDRC to use their training lake during the winter on a Saturday. This water will be familiar with many RC helms as it is also currently home to Chelmsford RC Club. During 2007 we will again be holding our summer series (May Ð August), racing will be on a Tuesday evening at Ratsborough Farm. Ê At various times during the year and when we identify a date that the majority of the fleet will be available we look to put on a special event and we put up the ÒIts Not a Toy TrophyÓ. This wonderful glass tankard has been raced for on 4 separate occasions and has been won by 4 different helms. The North's 'dedicated' RC Laser club. Organisers of the Northern Mini TT Winter Series and the Annual Linear Race. Racing every Sunday. See Website for details. Sailing at South Lakeland Leisure Village, Nr Carnforth, Lancashire. Only 5 mins from M6, Junction 35 - easy to find.

The rough roadway around the lake has been resurfaced making the lake fit to visit, and as the gates are locked visitors are requested to give some notice of date and times of visits.Please note that R/CLaser sailing takes place on Saturday afternoons from 13:30 hours and some weekdays when weather permits. One Metre and Marblehead sailing takes place on Sundays with some practice sailing on wednesdays.Ê All are welcome but please contact for directions etc.

In our program, Lasers have priority the first Sunday
each month. Other classes also sail but keep clear by using another course where possible.
If there are enough camp followers (helpers) we sometimes follow with a barbecue - the charcoal takes time to heat, & the food needs organising.

Buchanness MYC welcome RC Laser sailors on Wednesday and Saturdays throughout the year.

The Club runs races during the winter on the large pond behind the Magnum Leisure Centre at Irvine beach. The wind on the pond is steady no matter what direction it blows from, and a good windward course can always be achieved. Racing on Sunday mornings starting at 1000 hours. Summer racing is at various other venues as the Irvine pond suffers from weed during this time.
