The Association President is Nigel Seary and until recently through his company Peterkin became the European Supplier right at the start of the introduction of the RC Laser into the UK.
Nigel can be credited as the driving force behind GB boat and spares supply in the early years.
Nigel now retired with the European supply placed elsewhere retains the Presidency of the UK Association and continues to show a close and supportive interest in the Class.
Nigel is a full size Laser and yacht sailor ,in addition to being a pretty nifty RC Laser skipper.
Dave started sailing with his family when he was 3 years old, in cadets at 6 and crewing for his father in the family GP14, took over helming at 17, then moved into Merlin Rockets. Started Sailing RC Lasers in 2009, and hasn't looked back.
