I dusted off the laser bag ready for some winter racing and put new batteries in the boat and the transmitter, switched on - nothing happened not a twitch, checked the switch was working with multi meter it was and looked at the receiver when power switched on a brief red light seen but still not a twitch....

Im relatively new to RC so before I blunder in and wreck the setup do I need to Bind the transmitter and receiver, it worked straight out of the box for the past 2 years.. why would it need to Bind again now?

Or is it something else... any thoughts gratefully received....
